I‘ve Seen It All is an artist‘s book on the human soul, mechanical reproduction, (self) perception and our tendency to grasp onto the ever-fleeting moment of the present.
It asks the viewer to pause, notice, shift and transcend; it is a call for the investigation of our cultural contexts based on a nuanced observation of the self in the ever-fleeting moment of the present; but in its very essence, it is a plea for the reconciliation of the industrialization and the human spirit in everything we surround ourselves with.
I’ve Seen It All makes use of film as a digital stand-in for its tactile and explorative notions that would otherwise be limited to the original form. The following trailer is a preview of this attempt to transfer this physicality into the digital realms that aims to bridge the gap and bring the premise of the artist’s book closer to the distanced viewer in front of a screen.
