Modi’s Montparnasse is a guided walking tour through
Montparnasse, set in 1917 and
narrated by the formidable artist
Amedeo Modigliani. By exploring
the four key sites of the neighbor-
hood, you will get to meet Modigli-
ani’s artist friends who once lived
here and get a chance to learn more
about their characters and art.
Amazing Amedeo Modigliani, along with the curious Chaïm Soutine, magnetic Marie Vassilieff, talented Tsuguharu Foujita, adorable Alice Prin, and captivating Constantin Brâncuși will paint an unforgettable picture of what a day in the magical Montparnasse would have been like over a hundred years ago.
Modi’s Montparnasse is a result of my research residency at the Cité Falguière L’AiR Arts Association in Paris. Produced in collaboration with Atelier 11 and Parsons Paris, curated by Aidana Bergaliyeva, layout and editorial by Tobias Micko.
